Sailor's Full Ink Lines Including Shop Exclusives Compiled In A Post?

I have just tried the Kobe Ginza Gold Sepia and my bottle is much more like Jmccarty3’s post. It is dark and heavy in my Itoya Romeo 3 with a broad nib. Looks like the vertigris on bronze with some bright bronze (goldish) shinning through here and there. There may be similar inks, but I do not have any in my collection.

I like this alot.

Hello. All!

Though it's not store exclusive, Sailor will going to release new colours. I think you might be interested. :)

http://www.sailor.co.jp/pdf/release/shikiori-tsukuyonominamo_20170922.pdf

According to google translate the fountain pens, ballpoint pens, and mechanical pencils announced will be part of the "Four Seasons" series. I know Sailor has a series of Pro Gear Slim pens and perhaps this is an extension of that line, or these new pens are just part of the 1911 line? It'll be interesting to see whether these are available worldwide, or just in Japan.

Thanks for the info lovelytofu!

I really want to see Naruko Red !!!..

Hi,

If you check page 138 of this thread, Miujojo has already posted a colour sample of Naruko Red. I prefer to get my inks on my own instead of relying on others so took a little time to get the ones I wanted.

Edit: these are called office Vender inks. The shop is located in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. They used to sell online 2-3 years back but now they do only in shop sales.

So are they Sailor inks in general, or shop exclusive ones?

As far as I understand, they are inks in general and going to be sold at sationery shops in Japan just like other regular inks.

Here is another photo of new inks from Sailor twitter account.

Cool!

Edit/Postscript: I noticed that Bungbox Sweet Potato Purple is available at Vanness again, for those who have been seeking out this ink. It only becomes available each September.

We've seen a few of the inks mentioned in the latest Kingdom Note line called "Green Experience" which were based on Southeast Asia, one was a light green banana, the other a pale colored green coconut. The three inks in the series based on Japan came out at the end of July, but I only recently (September) noticed them on the KN site. I guess I'm slow. These inks are based on the Ostrich Fern, the Japanese Beech, and the lichen Parmotrema tinctorum.

I also picked up one of the Tales of the Genji series, the Monogatari (brown), but since I was on an ink budget, I had to restrain myself from further purchases.

Here are some sample pics with the Japanese toy.

I don't have too many inks from kingdom Note (2 - Mandarin duck and Lidith Jay). Maybe I will buy that brown and a few others. Also have about 10,000 points on kingdom note so inks would be free.

@white_lotus - is yet possible to share the writing sample of the brown? Swatch was shared earlier but actual writing pictures are always more useful.

Yes I'll definitely get to the brown. Some time early October. I have a big project to finish before the 10th.

Have all three of the greens above and two or three of the Genji but no time to try them out. Thanks to those who have and shared.
