Hello Everyone,

 

I am currently traveling in Japan, and thanks to this amazing thread I've already picked up so many fantastic inks here during my travels.

 

I would like to return the favor to the best of my ability: I would be more than happy to acquire some hard to get bottles for fellow FPN Japanese ink enthusiasts during the remainder of my trip.

 

A couple of caveats:

 

• The remainder of my stay will be in Kyoto and Tokyo only, so no inks from other areas of Japan.
• Please don't ask me to pick up a ton of bottles(>5ish) for a single individual. I would like to spread the love as much as possible, so keep it within reason!
• I will have to tap out at some point since I obviously don't have unlimited space in my suit case, so I will call it quits when I feel appropriate
• I will only ship in the Continental US(obviously you will have to pay for shipping)
• PAYPAL ONLY, No PP No Go

Then I find out the only location of the store is literally in the very bottom of Japan, a 10 hour train ride from where I will be the closest/where I currently am(Kyoto) :/

A word of caution regarding ordering of these inks. Only order if you are in Kyoto for more than 4-5 days. They take 2-3 days to ship and it takes a while to reach (4 days in my case), probably because of the distance. So if you are going to be in Kyoto for a while, it's safe to order. Otherwise you are running the risk of items being sent back to Kagoshima, if you have left the city by the time they reach.

I was thinking the same thing. But I remember that Joyful-2 Honda had images that looked similarly, so my guess is it's not.

I'm not sure how I could easily compare them but they look like doppelgangers or I just fail as doing swabs...

but I can see some unsaturated point differences (Renga has some pink/purple component to the ink)

forgive my chicken scratches on Rikyu-cha and Renga I have a hard time writing with dip nibs as they arent designed for lefty over writing :<

According to google translate it's just the pens. And they have five new colors, though one is LE.

 

For some unknown reason this line never caught the imagination of ink lovers here. Only three reviews, and not a lot of mentions otherwise.

Algester, great colors and comparisons. I like the reddish browns and I have Rikyu cha, it is a wonderful ink.

I owned 8 of those colours at some point. Most of the colours were boring.
