I just posted scans of all my inks, including many of the exclusives mentioned in this thread. Check it out here.

Too many pens; too little writing.

Very reminiscent of KN Mycena pura. Very nice.

I wasn't able to get KN Mycena Pura, but this is my type of pink. Actually I take 2 drops on the napkin and the outer part has golden green shade.

I'm also waiting for another two colors, which are the bottom right (bright greenish yellow) and bottom left (bright greenish blue)

Are you sure it isn't Assisi Verde? In normal writing, is it green?

Yes, it is Verde.... the gothic font makes it look like a "D"..

I think there is a spelling mistake, or a translation mistake, in Amarfi Azzurro. I guess it shall be Amalfi Azzurro, like in the famous little town south of Napels

Nice colour though...

Japanese has a problem with 'r' and 'l'...

Too many pens; too little writing.

My Japanese grandmother always called cross eyed people "Rondon Palis".

(It works better with the accompanying hand motions.)

When I was a freshman medical student many years ago, we had a standing offer of $100 to anyone who could get our Japanese physiology instructor to say "lienorenal ligament."

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Let me guess, another ink that you can't get outside of Japan?

Totally. I was able to find a web site for a shop called Pella Penna in Osaka, but it seems to specialize in goods imported into Japan, so they have Delta, Stipula, Lamy, etc. I didn't see any inks on the website. It could be there is a Rakuten page but I've never been able to search Rakuten to find anything, since I don't know how to write anything in Japanese.

Some display the ink in store only and the way we can figure out whether the ink's availability is to call the store directly (if you speak Japanese), ask White Rabbit Express, or some family relatives or friends in Japan to help you out.

The funny thing is, I think Japanese CAN tell the difference, just that they have been taught the opposite. Almost 100% of the time I say "L", my students write "R", and visa-versa. When writing, they reverse these two almost 100% of the time.

Now, if they truely could not discern between the two, then they should still get them correct about half the time.

I think this has to do with Romaji. Ra-ri-ru-re-ro (ら-り-る-れ-ろ/ラ-リ-ル-レ-ロ) has an obvious 'L' sound rather than an 'R' sound, and since they associate that sound with 'R' from Romaji, they probably assume that the 'R' sound is associated with the letter that, like the sound, is foreign to them. At least, that's what one Japanese friend told me.

A friend bought them from Osaka.

Not from Rakuten. :)
