Sailor's Full Ink Lines Including Shop Exclusives Compiled In A Post?

For m

I am going to have to have Sailor Cigar. Do my color preferences mean I'm in the autumn of my life, which I have always considered Indian Summer? Which brings up another interesting topic. Do our lusts for certain sections of the spectrum reflect our moods, our age, our neurosis, or simply the collector's natural obsession?

For me it is more of which colors I can get away with using for work. This pretty much limits me to blues, a few of the darker greens, browns and reds. There are many other colors I like but can't really use, so I don't buy these.

Sorry, I meant to post this much earlier, but I didn't have time. Here is a writing sample of the Sailor Morita Shade Green.

Pretty! Kinda reminds me of Montblanc Jonathan Swift.

I am SO SCREWED!

I will be in Japan in less than 2 months and my budget is spent and I haven't even gotten there yet.

Between ink and paper.......I'm DONE.

I actually thought I could get away with just Maruzen Athena Sepia, a couple Iroshizuku inks, and some paper/journals. :lticaptd:

What was I thinking?! :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Apparently to this date Japanese take these pens seriously that Students are advised to take fountain pen classes (at least in some prefectures) which teaches about pen cleaning and maintenance...

Hey guys, sorry for the OT, but could someone post a comparison between Tokiwa Matsu and Tanna Japonensis? I'd greatly appreciate it :) Thanks!

Tokina is much darker... Think Epinard. Tanna Japonensis has more yellow.

If I remember, I'll post something tonight..

They are really completely different colours. Tanna Japonensis is much more like Alt-goldgrun, and Tokiwa-matsu is more like epinard.

Thank you!!

I find Tanna Japonensis coming from a wet pen is much darker that Alt Goldrun coming from a wet pen.
