Thank goodness there is an FPN member who is willing to go to these shops that don't have web sites to wrestle these bottles from the hands of the local ink buyers. I just hope he can avoid the store clerks picking up the phone and alerting the area constabulary. He would be hard to replace!

Apologies for my penmanship... is Sei Ran..

Oh it might not be your penwomanship at all. I have difficulty reading cursive if it doesn't conform to my own version of chicken scratch.

I just have to say I stumble upon on 湯あがりピンク (Yuagari pink) which is a limited run ink for 旅手帖 beppu it was probably limited during Demcember 26, 2011-March 25,2012 and is discontinued.. I'm not even sure why I'm posting this... but I just keep on stumbling upon it

http://beppu.asia/map/shopping/96.html

might be related to Akashi bungu...

also I might just warrant an attention Kogyokudo once had some sailor inks with them... ONCE (October 29 of 2010 to be exact) so I might look into that shop in the future should they ever have another set of inks

http://item.rakuten.co.jp/kogyokudo/c/0000000273/ here's their rakuten shop if anyone wants to find any goodies

Let me do another sample on a sheet of white Tomoe River and a sheet of Rhodia blank 80gm. This is very nice paper, but it is very grey/green, and I don't think a mossy, murky green like this looks the best on it. I also don't own any stubs or broads, just a oblique Waterman Gentleman - probably the closest to the pens you usually use.

I can confirm that Sailor Kobe SOL inks are out of production. I am also pretty sure Renoir and Turner Cafe are also out of production as well. However, the Nagasawa Pen Shop still has a few bottles of Renoir sitting around (as of two weeks ago) since it wasn't a very popular color.

I just need to find me a Nagasawa ink-trafficker to ship it to me... :P

update me on Voltaire Juni-Hitoe, Usagiya and Pen lounge lr if they plan on restocking... it's weird that they (Voltaire) only have 6 colors to the 12 layer kimono name-sake...
Bungo no Mori inks are still available
if anyone has swabs from pen-land cafe I will apreciate cant find any decent photo

Nihonbashi Maruzen Athena Akane and River Blue are these mainstay inks or also a limited run in Nihonbashi? since they have the octagonal ink label which would suggest being a limited ink line

Hi everyone,

I read a post a week or so ago that someone is looking for Sailor ink "Rikyu-Cha". I also love the funky color and ordered some bottles from Tazio Okagaki. The shipping from Japan was as expensive as the inks. Anyway, I will be glad to share. Please clue me in if any of you know who wants this ink.

I am going to have to have Sailor Cigar. Do my color preferences mean I'm in the autumn of my life, which I have always considered Indian Summer? Which brings up another interesting topic. Do our lusts for certain sections of the spectrum reflect our moods, our age, our neurosis, or simply the collector's natural obsession?
