Sailor's Full Ink Lines Including Shop Exclusives Compiled In A Post?

About a week ago, Usagiya lifted the one per account limit and raised it to 3 for a few days. I used mine and my friend's rakuten account to order 6 inks. It's back to 1 per account now.

#1 Kojima Denim

#4 Korakuen

#7 Ushimado Ege Kai

#8 Kinojyo No Akaoni

#14 Okayama No Souten

#18 Akaiwa Wine

Apparently, they give free shipping for orders above 6000 yen, so I didn't pay any shipping on both orders.

I still want #5, #10 and #11. :|

I'm waiting on a bottle of #14. I have more Sky High, Shioya Blue, Souten, and Bocchan Blue than I could use up in a lifetime, but I'm a sucker for these Sailor blues, so I'm very excited...

I barely use blue inks, have one inked up right now after almost 6 months, Shousaikan Seiran.

As for Usagiya, I was more excited about Akaiwa wine and Kinojyo No Akaoni, I like those colours. :)

Does anyone know if the re-released Jentle line (kin-mokusei, rikyu-cha etc.) is being released for a limited time only, or is going to be added to the current line up for good? I initially thought it was a limited release, but people on Instagram are saying that it is going to be added to the current line-up. Would appreciate if someone could clear this up :)

Perhaps after vendors get back from the DC show we'll get an answer.

We are dealing with Sailor, which probably means they'll swap out the current line-up of eight colors and re-introduce these "new" eight colors. That's just a guess on my part, because they've already done this before. They've never expanded this line-up from eight colors to sixteen colors. So I'll have to stock up on a few of the existing colors as there are only three inks that seem interesting to me in the new lineup.

You are probably right. I also think that they will replace the current eight inks with the 'new' lineup. Can't see it will be 16 inks, even though I hope...

That was my theory way back at the beginning of this year when they announce the return of Rikyou-Cha, Mokusei, Irori.. etc. But then Sailor called them "EXCLUSIVE" to Japan, which they have never done.

I do hope they do end up releasing worldwide as part of the Jentle line. I personally don't have to stock on the current line since I still have an extra bottle of Epinard, Sky High and Grenade.

The people on Instagram saying it will be added to the current line are those who attended the DC Pen show. I guess like white_lotus said we'll have to wait for the dealers to announce what exactly Sailor has planned. It will be a strange move to replace the entire current line-up.

I've stocked up enough on Sailor, now there are lots of new ink makers to chase after who don't give me a headache

What Sailor SHOULD do: bring back the 10 Onago-iro Days inks.

What they probably will do: discontinue many current inks we love.

Oh you know Sailor only too well. I wonder if it's the only pen company that seems to hate it's own customers — except for their money, of course. I know this seems cruel to say, but to some extent it seems true.

I will politely disagree with you.... if they wanted our money, they would release their inks all over the world. ;)

All 24 inks are available from Sailor directly that includes the storia line up so yes if you can directly purchase from Sailor's webstore your safe as having guaranteed stock unless the logistics chain goes awry

But if the rest of the 4 season inks goes out of Japan is still up in the air even I'm not sure how Sailor intl will handle this initially I'm like stuck in Japan type of deal if they do release it outside then I guess its safe to say I'm proven wrong and thats fine

I think Sailor should make an ink colour called Sour Grapes. It'll sell very well outside the domestic Japanese market ;-)

I suspect most of the prospective buyers for the above mentioned color have a "lifetime supply" already.

I thought both White_lotus and Cyber6 said at some point that they have moved on from sailor inks. What's up now?

I thought the new inks looked really nice.. though the gray/black didn't look all that appealing to myself

these inks are amazingly fast drying too.. I tried a smear test after 5s wait and it would not smear.

It's safe to assume that Sailor, as they have always done, will likely retire the current 4 Season's for a few years and bring in the "rerelease", eventually cycling those out for other retired inks--it's an old story.

Most will stock up (if they havent already) before the current line is suspended, as they did a few years back. This is nothing new, not at all surprising.

I don't remember ever saying I moved from Sailor inks... there are a lot of Sailor inks that I can easily get (Ex. Jentle line, Kobe). I lost interest in paying twice the price (ex. BungBox) and lost interest in chasing inks that are almost never in stock, or stock is too limited.. (Ex. Kingdom Note)

Lucky me, I have a healthy stock of my favorite Sailor inks and wouldn't mind if Sailor decides to "release" the exclusivity of some of their inks so the whole world could enjoy.

Wouldn't that be like... 80% of the sailor inks?

57 Kobe + 15 easily available sailor inks. Rest is very much the same. Limited stock, or price increase, or just brick & mortar store selling.
