Oh, sorry. I had never seen these before. I bought my first Bungbox inks back in March this year, so not too familiar with their inks.

Does anyone know when sweet potato purple will be released?

Likely late summer.

Hey ya'll - so these re-released shades of Jentle ink that just came out.. are any particularly impressive? I can't seem to find a lot of good writing samples of them in one place.

Kobe Santica and Usagiya Pione just arrived, along with a very nice Graphilo notebook. Thank you, WRE!

I'm getting a sample of the Santica at the DC show from my very gracious pen pal, and I'm super curious to try it. I'd love to see a writing sample, JM! :)

I just ordered some Usagiya inks too, but they haven't made their way to me quite yet.

Oooh, which ones? Did you order any of the oranges (#002 Hare no Kuni, #008 Kinojo no Akaoni, #015 Kasaoka no Himawari batake, #019 Setouchi Sunset)?

(I just today received my first usagiya ink, #005 Setouchi marine blue, via my first White Rabbit Express "care package" -- thanks to haruka337's post.)

He would need to reply to you if you sent him an email. In my experience, that is not a given. :(

I tried, but they were all sold out except for the newer pink, yellow, and blue. But apparently the store now has a strict ONE INK PER ADDRESS rule, so I had to pay extra to WRE for them to buy and ship the two inks separately.

The new pink one looked like of low saturated and light (bleh!) so I went with the newer blue and the new yellow. I really wanted the orange one, but it's not in stock right now.

Sorry about that. I will guess that the demand is high and he is only one man. Poor thing... :(

That new yellow looks promisingly legible, though!

white_lotus, thanks so much for those links; not sure how I missed them. Great reviews; I have a can of Lavazza in the kitchen, but I don't have the BB version, ha. I did get a sample of Ink of the Witch, and like it a *lot* more than I thought I would, which is unfortunate timing, because I had just done some rearranging of bottles, looked with some fright upon what I saw, and swore to myself: No more $43 bottles of ink. I'm trying to decide if Doyou would be a decent alternative. The color is not so much the issue; there's just something magical about the way Witch flows from nib to paper. In terms of that rather crucial aspect of ink, I'm not sure I've experienced anything better.

Thanks again for the links.

Doyou is very good and lubricating, but I think it's darker than BB Espresso. That said, the latter is one of the darker browns.

Yes, you can. I have the Irori on the way, and received the Kin Mokusei and Kobe #25 from him last week. I think they each cost $25, which included the cost of shipping.
