I am guessing that is the ONLY way he can get your Paypal info. The Messaging systems doesn't allow for email to be written. Maybe he is not aware of that.

I wasn't aware that you could link my paypal to my ebay so I checked the setting. My paypal was already linked to my ebay, so I'm not sure what difficulty he is having on his end.

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing.

 

On eBay, select the item you want and click on "Pay Now"... eBay will direct you to Paypal .. and you pay there.

 

The vendor (in this case Atsu).. will receive a paid invoice from Paypal.

 

 

So I am not sure why are you waiting for an invoice.

Not for me to say, as I'm new here, but this thread has 110 pages, and "how to get the stuff" seems to be a fairly common recurrent theme. Not sure that is a derailment, but if it is, I'll not do it again either.

Since the thread has already been derailed, here is what I do.

 

I mailed him a few days ago on his email id(not on eBay) and he did not respond. When I sent the same mail to him on eBay, he was fairly quick to respond.

 

Regarding the PayPal invoice issue, none of the invoices that he sends show up in my email id or Paypal account, so I manually send the money to him after asking for the product price which is mostly standard. He knows my paypal email Id and sends me the tracking number whenever he ships.

I didn't see this Sailor ink here before. Last month at the Hankyu Hanshin Department Store pen fair a limited edition Sailor "Maroon" ink was released. Based on samples that my friend has this is different from the Kobe maroon. The color is meant to be the same as their train cars (Hankyu also owns a railway company) and a limited edition Pilot Vanishing Point Decimo was released at the same time in a similar shade of maroon. Both were available only in person at the store. Here is a sample:

The shift to pastels is not unexpected given colour trends at the moment. They're pretty & they'd be lovely for pen & ink drawings, but I don't think I will be buying either of them.

Am I wrong in having the impression that Sailor is making more and more of these pale low saturation colour's instead of rich and saturated ones? These new Kobe inks and the re-release of the old four seasons inks are mostly this kind of colour's.
