Sailor's Full Ink Lines Including Shop Exclusives Compiled In A Post?

Hi Mew. I did have Matador but sold it a while back because I wasn't using it and I have reds that I prefer. It's a middle-of-the-road ink in terms of dryness, quite smooth and has a reasonable amount of sheen but wasn't particularly note-worthy or special for me.

I use these 2 colours the most, so thinking of getting their numbers up. I have 23 blues, but only 10 reds, 3 burgundy, and 2 orange reds.

Any suggestions for a sailor red/burgundy ink?

It depends on how bright you want to go. My favourite reds are Kobe #4 Ijinkan Red & Kobe #55 Nankinmachi Fortune Red (amazing gold sheen). For burgundy I like Kobe #27 Kounan Maroon and Writing Lab Old Burgundy (which I think you probably already have?). And Sailor Grenade is a classic, much nicer I think than it's replacement Oku-yama. You may get lucky finding some Grenade if you haven't already got it. My preference tends towards dark plum/purple than burgundy, so I have more in that colour range Edited October 8, 2016 by migo984

I'd say Sweet Potato Purple but you probably have it already.

If you don't already have it, #27 Kounan Maroon is a really lovely color - more brown than Oku-yama or Tears of Clown, but still definitely a maroon. Great performance, too.
