Received both my pens today.

Mmmm..........the Acrylic is very nice and as pictured but my Ebonite is Brown - hardly any black in it and no way is it red at all, it is BROWN.

I did not want a brown pen - disappointed.

Hmmm. My ebonite can look brown from certain angles and in subdued lighting, but I definitely have black ripples in it. With the high polish, I'm enamored with it. Writes like a dream too. Sorry you're disappointed with yours.

Wow... those pens look amazing! To my eyes the ebonite looks a lot like the antique "red ripple" material. Posts like these make me wish I joined FPN sooner.
