I posted this in the "Inky Thoughts" forum because the focus was on the ink in this pen. Sharing Shading But I thought other Italian pen people might enjoy it for the pen porn.

Bryant calls this LE "Etruria Mila Gold Rush." It's really beautiful, IMO.

I find some of the vintage Italian fountain pens beautiful in their simplicity and sense of design. Most contemporary Italian pens seem to go overboard with incrustations of overdone metalwork. Perhaps I've been looking at the wrong Italian pens! For some reason I find your pen very appealing and the acrylic is absolutely beautiful and seems the perfect foil for the metal furnishings. i went looking for your pen on line but couldn't locate one.

Thanks for giving another view. The shading of the ink in your other post was very nice, something I look for in an ink.

I agree with you about overly blingy pens and also that this Etruria is quite tasteful.

The only place I have seen this pen is Chatterly Luxuries/Pentime.com. Bryant Greer has it on sale, currently. He also has it listed on ebay.

awesome pen, enjoy :)

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Thanks, George. It is beautiful, and, since I filled it with Garuda Red, it is truly awesome! With other inks I had tried, it wrote a bit too wet for italic.
