I love the Noodler's Black Swan, AU. and use it daily. I have a Kaweco calligraphy set where it gets a lot of use as well.

Love your penmanship!

Thanks, Chas0039.

I was considering BS in ER vs Noodlers Beaver when Garuda Red occurred to me. BS in ER is constantly loaded in one of my best writers, a Conway Stewart Belliver with an amazing custom italic nib.

WOW, looks great :yikes:

Thanks, Uncle Red.

It looks even better "in person." But you knew that.

Beautiful pen and writing. Thank you for sharing!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Beautiful pen, beautiful writing! Etruria has been on my radar for quite some time now but after my latest pen purchases it will have to wait for a couple of months at least. And that ink! Akkerman inks just look so nice to me, I really want to buy me some bottles but I just can't justify paying the price of the bottles for shipping cost. If only someone I knew was going to the NL...

As for my favorite shading inks! Well, the ink that I experienced the most shading with is Diamine Kelly Green, simply crazy shading. I'm at work now so I can't provide a picture but I will have to remember to post some when I get home. The only problem with that ink is that it is too light colored.

Another favorite of mine is the MB Toffee Brown, it has great shading also. Yet another is Edelstein Amber, it had crazy shading with my M1000 with an M nib (which writes more like a B).

Kon-Peki is another good shader and as far as I am concerned the best ink from the Iroshizuku line. Weirdly enough Kon-Peki also has sheen around the letter edges.

Beautiful pen.

Shading often depends much on the paper. IMO should be 90g minimum, and laser if you can get it.

I strive to buy only shading inks.

R&K is tops there.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.
