What is the UGLIEST pen ever produced ?

You're right.

Different opinions. But i could be disappointed by the explanation of that opinion.

If the kind of pen you like is 149, 146, M800, Duofold i understand you like classical shape for fountain pens.

But how could someone say that serenitè is the ugliest pen made ever?

Different opinion is the answer, i think...

Like or dislike of a pen is totally a difference of opinion but it is arrogance when a person believes that their opinion is better than others :ltcapd:

I think you don't understand my post. My english is not very good for a good explanation.

If someone thinks that serenitè is the ugliest pen in the world i can't kill him. But i can be disappointed with this opinion, or can't?

I was only joking when said that he needs some erghonomic lessons or that the nib is ugly only in his mind.

We were talking 'bout fountain pens, remember that. Why are you, instead of talkin' 'bout f.p., takin part in this post only to say i'm arrogant? Are you a kind of god? :ltcapd:

Well, it appears there was a misunderstanding of my opinion

I wasn't saying that the Serenite was an ugly pen. I was just posting what I felt about the pen because it happened to be mentioned. I have only seen the pen capped in a store, and most of the internet images have it capped. Then I saw a picture with it uncapped and thought "hmm, not as pretty as I thought it could be".

Nevertheless, let's not go off-topic ;)

We're talkin' 'bout fountain pens, it's all right. I didn't want to offend someone. (kissing, i know you don't say serenitè is ugliest pen ever made)

Nothing personal with everyone that thinks different to me.

Bye!!! :roflmho:

Me a god no  I am not but when someone indicates that they are 'disappointed' with another person's opinion that indicates to me a discounting of another person's opinion :crybaby:.

Since thinking like this has gotten me into trouble before I will retract my prior post- say whatever the (I'm sure you can do better) you want to about any (duck) person or their (my eyes, my eyes!) opinions of any (I'm sure you can do better) pen why should I care

I was going to propose the Eversharp Skyline but after reading everyone else's nominations, I have to admit it isn't all that bad after all.

Personally, I love the Squid and if I had the money I would get one.

Ditto. For ugliest, I think the Rotring Core takes it for me. There's some true fug in many limited editions, but most pens are, well, pens.

I agree that is a beautiful pen. Personally I want the Krone T-Rex that has an actual piece of bone from the Dinosaur. Of course I think that submarine pen is pretty cool also.

That gun-pen thing is very cool, something Adam West would have used. I have a horible feeling though that signing your name with that pen might be the last thing you ever do. "How did he die?" reply "Oh, he was cleaning his pen and didn't check to see if it was loaded."

Well, it's mammoth ivory, but wow, that is pretty cool. (No affiliation with link, it's just the first Google hit I found with a pic.)

In each pen there is a part of a T-Rex tooth, the real thing. It's in the bottom band.

all of the krone limited editions are horrid

You beat me to it! But, may I embellish ('ala Krone) by adding the terms, garish, fugly, horrendous, stupifying, clumsy, busy, overstated-is-an-understatement, and just plain face-slappin'-butt-fugly? Matter of fact, I bet if I could find a way to form each of these word in small gold, silver, platinum and diamond letters, Krone would find a way to apply them onto one medium-sized pen, and likely call it "The Fugly."
