Should have called the red one "Boomiji", missed a trick there. :)

:) Thank you, Lou, this was great! It looks so much lighter with your pen.

Thanks for the compliments.

The only time I see shading is when I print.

Your pen makes it look lighter.

I'm looking forward to the CRVs!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Napalm, I never bought Pilot Blue Black, but your letters make it appear to be a great performing ink. I may have to try it just so I can knowledgeably comment.

I didn't like it at first sight (I was more attracted by the more intense Asa Gao and the like) but it grew on me as a subdued yet very readable, office compatible, all purpose ink with a lot of hidden qualities.

I can understand that. My favorite ink was not my favorite at first. The color of Dromgoole's Blue Steel was too teal for me, but as I used it...and used it...and used it again...I fell in love.

Funny, no one ever asked where the fourth ghost was. I assume Amberlea found it. :)

I agree with napalm here, on almost every point. I didn't expect to like Pilot B-B, but return to it often. It's office compatible, but not a solid black or a boring blue ballpoint. It stands out by being subtly different.

It's also, as napalm pointed out in his letter, well-behaved and affordable. I'm happy to suggest it to anyone.

I should have looked with the blue light.... I know where it is now.

Great photos of the reviews and comparisons! Thank you for sharing!

This looks like a perfect ink for a rainy winter day :)
