This is my latest Bayard-- a 656, circa 1950s. Thanks again to ebay seller amateur25.

I decided to play up the pen's shade of green by contrasting it with foliage from our garden.

It's inked with Montblanc Red Chalk and the writing sample is written on Clairefontaine. The nib reads P and F with the crossed nibs logo and 18ct as well as 50.

Thanks for looking!

So Nice...... I look forward to see more of you

Thank you! I have more Bayards photographed in this Miscellaneous Brand thread.

Very nice pen!

I would guess it is rather later 1940ies, though :)

Thank you very much! Why late 40s, though, rather than early 50s?

Actually I think I`m wrong! Early 50s is very probably right.

The 30s-looking section threw me, as they became more streamlined in the late 40s.

Lacking any factual informations about French period pens, it`s often very difficult to tell.

Your Bayard has a distinctly 40s look, which deceived me!

(nice pictures, btw :) )

Thank you again! Who really knows, right? I find it bizarre what little information there is on these beautiful French pens.

Thank you. Great stuff!

The 656 is the Spécial Luxe, Laura.

Thank you for the info. Every little bit helps.
