Yes...sigh.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The pens is lovely. I thought that my next pen would be a Vanishing Point with a modified nib, but now it seems that this has jumped to the head of the line. Now I just need to figure out what kind of nib I want...

Oh! What a wonderful pen. I think I really need it. Ok, no more m200 pens. Time to save for this beauty.

Wow! I thought the earlier tortoiseshell edition was great (and it still is) but this blows me away! I can't wait! Does anyone know when it will be in stock?

Originally there were rumors that this would be a magnum sized pen with a dual-toned nib; so much for rumors. This looks to be the same size as the previous M101n editions and the same nib, just different colored materials. This pen now appears on the Pelikan web site and it is stated that this will come as a gift set with a package and bottle of ink with a "historic motif." This type of packaging I believe has been used on a number of past issues and are seen on ebay every now and then. Pelikan has left the retail price blank. Needless to say this looks a lot more appealing than the lizard M101N.

Thanks for sharing the news and photos. Although the repro pen is beautiful, I think Pelikan missed the opportunity to introduce it as the Magnum oversize pen. I might be wrong, perhaps, Pelikan might not recognise the Magnum pen as its original product hence the issuance of the usual 101N size. Just my 2 cents.

Just when I thought I was out, they puuuuuull me back in! Seriously, I'm buying the Visconti Homo Sapiens Crystal later this month, will probably buy the brown tortoise-shell M800 and the white tortoise-shell M600 and I was thinking that I wouldn't buy a new pen for a long time. And then I see this... Sigh. The original version of this was in my most wanted list.

What would be a ballpark for the price? Maybe I could fit it in...

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Yes, Pelikan has hit all the right buttons on this one! This is the hottest one so far IMHO. Time to squirrel away the dollars!
