Inky T O D - Do You Ever Share You Doodles?

In the "olden days" people wrote letters - then when you wrote a letter to a sweetheart, we called these "love letters" - Now days, we type most of our correspondence. Personally, I think of any letter I send or receive as a little love letter because someone cared enough about me to write to me. I feel a little happier each time I see a letter.

Big Grin .... I feel even more loved when I get doodles. It's a little inky present.

You may recognize some of these:

Also, I love humor.

This is one Sinistral1 posted to DCWaites and me.

Recent excavations have unearthed actual glyph fragments of the Inkan elder commonly refered to as "Shado-Shen-Nut". The work is currently shut down due to a budget crisis, however, here are photos of the latest discoveries, which also include a glyph of a mysterious female deity that may also have been part of the Inkan tribal group "FPN". She is being labeled "En-Abe-Lawr" until more can be discovered about her true identity.

Although Shado-Shen-Nut was clearly a male elder (note the overly large pen he is clasping), the girly skirt looking shape on his glyph is actually a large colored blot. Chemical analysis of the "blot" suggests it was composed of "Susemai", a yet unknown substance that is found only in ancient Pangea. Ink Traders International membership soared with this amazing find of evidence that our distant ancestors engaged in the exchange of colored fluids known as "Pig-Mintz".

So, have you ever sent a doodle to someone - either in a "love letter" or just as a part of a little note?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I think I sent you a little inky ghost as well but I think doodles are fun! I'm terrible at drawing but it's still enjoyable :D

I'll keep on struggling, 'cause that's the measure of a man.

PS - Original Wording has been edited to include Pangea, not because the above deities may have been from Pangea, but because we do not want to reveal any more hints about the location of Susemai.

PS Susemai may or may not be near Atlantis.

PS Atlantis may or may not be the Atlantis Hotel in Reno, Nevada.

I will have to make sure I add that one up too. I used it as an avatar, but I don't know that I saved it as a hyperlink. I love the little ghosts.

Yes - frequently. This is part of a doodle on the back of an envelope I posted recently. It's Noodler's Burgundy, by the way

Oh I wasn't trying to guilt you into doing anything, just a comment you seem to get many inky ghost doodles :).

I think you and Napalm were the ones who suggested that take submissions and switch them out with new and different inks.

That's not a doodle - it's a work of art!

It was the art of finding an excuse to burn Amber's retina with the most vivid coral pink ever possible B)

The last hand-written letter I sent was over a month ago. I wish I would have snapped a picture of the doodles I did on the envelope! These are all very lovely, by the way.

Enjoy some desk-time doodles, in lieu of letter doodles. I am compelled to write a letter now, however. Filled with inky trees of every color.

I love the pink tree. I think Charles likes it too, but is afraid to admit just because it's pink.

OTOH that doesn't look like a business-oriented keyboard there :P

The tree is just darling, cute, divine - I just want to give it a great big hug.

Just the thing for my chain saws.

Definitely not business-oriented. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and when I'm not teaching and entertaining my toddler, wasting my life away on the Internet, or gaming, I actually write fictional things on this computer. Gasp!
