Most attendees will be going to the show on Saturday or Sunday. In general (exceptions exist, of course) DC/NoVA traffic is somewhat lighter on the weekend, than on workdays. Especially during rush hour on workdays, which seems to run from 6am-10:30am and 2:30pm-10pm. And sometimes around lunchtime. And occasionally late at night.

 

 

 

????? I'm assuming you live here. Weekends in the summer are WORSE than many weekdays, at least in NoVA. We are also suffering through random acts of VDOT that can turn a seemingly easy drive into a total inexplicable disaster! All in the name of progress.

 

Travel early, have an EZ Pass, and be willing to pay toll on the I-495 Express Lanes and you'll get to Tysons. I make no guarantees to getting home. AND, I live here, travel I-95/395 every day, and will be going to Tysons on Saturday!
