Günther Wagner - What's It Worth?

What might a person - in his right mind - be prepared to pay for a Pelikan Günther Wagner set, with a Pelikan M400, like the one below?

Me? the value of an M400 and a big bottle of ink., No, scrap that, as I find the m400 too small. Not interested.

But is that a vintage set, or new?

These boxes are expensive, CS now gives an option simple-lavish box on some models. Quite a difference in price.

It is not a M400, but a M100 or a M200 and therefore € 50,- would be a very good price for the seller.

Have a look at my pens for sale here or follow me @penatelier.
And if you have any information on OWA pens, made by Peter Jungmann somewhere near Heidelberg, Germany, please let me know.

Really? Seller shows this as the other side of the box.

BTW I am asking because it's on sale somewhat cheapish and I thought I might snag it up and then resell it if it turns out not to my liking.

Well something doesn't quite match up there, because on my monitor that pen doesn't look very green/black (Grün/Schwartz) to me. It looks more grey. But maybe it's just my monitor...

Looks more like mother of pearl than the classic striated.

Depending on the nib, I'd pay up to $80US for it, plus shipping up to $16US, if it's an M200.

If it's a M400 with a gold nib, up to $150US.

So you're saying the pen doesn't match the box? I'm shocked. Anyway, the asking price turns out to be way too high, so I'll pass - thanks for your advice!

The pen is an older style 200 like the one on the right in this picture.
