Pretty! The Bethge inks intrigue me. Wish I could see this one side-by-side with J. Herbin Violette Pensee.

I don't have Violette Pensee but here it is side by side with Iroshizuku Murasaki Shikibu:

And some more pics of the bottle:

Where do you find Bethge inks? A few years ago I saw swatches of a couple—Moon Dust and Aubergine—that were so pretty I wrote them down, but I couldn't find the inks online and now the memory of the colors has faded, too.

In Canada www.stylusfinepens.com otherwise you could check with www.bethge-hamburg.de they have lots of other nice stuff too. I don't know of any US based distributor, but I didn't do a thorough research.

Wow, they do look similar.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Is this ink scented.....

I like the colour but don't like scented....

Das leben ist wie ein Perpetuum Mobile mit ein Mangel..... Immer im Bewegung jedoch nicht unendlich. (life is like a troubled Perpetuum Mobile ever moving but not for ever)

Tricked throughout the centuries...

For centuries people had been tricked by kings & "religion-alism"

In the 20th century people got tricked by communism

Today people get tricked by (neo)capitalism :)

I just started a fade test unfortunately I cannot upload any more pics ("You can upload up to Uploading is not allowed of files (Max. single file size: 20MB)").

So here it is in words: Bethge Lavender fades faster than Iroshizuku Murasaki Shikibu.
