Ink Bottles In A Plane?

My most recent flight (SLC to Denver) in March I filled the pens I wanted to take- this was for about 3-4 days - basically a long weekend. I took about 6 pens. It was more than enough. I took some notes at a meeting while there, wrote a letter or two and still did not come close to using it all. I wrote and or doodled on the plane both directions (it is about a 75 minute flight each way). 2-3 pens were piston fillers the rest cartridge/converter - one had a converter installed. I had the following colors with me: Noodler's Apache Sunset, Diamine Steel Blue, Diamine Sherwood Green, Pilot Black (cartridge), Diamine Classic Red, Akkerman Shocking Blue and at least one Blue Black maybe two. (Diamine and Pelikan 4001) I could have taken half of what I did and been more than fine.

FWIW I've flown through Paris (Orly and CDG), London (Luton, Heathrow, Gatwick), Keflavik, Bangkok, Mumbai, New Delhi, Leh, Athens, and Ibiza, and not had issues with cartridges.

Can't speak for US airports.

Too many pens, too little time!

I don't travel.

My cousin is also a pen lover.

I think I'll meet her, so I want to show my collection.

P.S.: I'm leaving soon. Yay.

I am not sure how this post helps the OP?
