Numerous nib guys- Mike- it - work is the best- but many options for nib work.

Who is Mike? The reason I ask is I thought I would mail out pen before show and pick up in DC

Looking forward to being at the world's largest pen show again this year making it 20-some years, I've lost track! We'll be in our usual spot against the back wall of the main ballroom. Just look for our Pendemonium banner on the wall. Leaving for the show on August 3 so we can ravage the countryside looking for more cool writing things. Let us know before we leave if you have special requests, happy to bring them along as long as we know before August 3. This is a great show, always a pen buzz going on. See ya'll there!

I just booked my travel. Flying in from NYC Friday and then returning by train Sunday! I'm looking forward to this!

And I thought the Drive from Arkansas was long! Have fun - maybe he weather will stay mild - record lows for July here in Arkansas! Ya'll always have the most interesting items!

I spent 25 years living in DC area, it is ALWAYS hot and ALWAYS humid, that is why people that live there go to the beach in August! Probably why we get such good hotel rates in the area, too ;-) Will be good to see you, glad you're coming to the show.

We went to Colonial Williamsburg for our 20th anniversary. Had a local assure us "This isn't hot -- it's only May!" I was very happy that the Williamsburg Lodge had a parking garage, so we had the car parked and in the shade all weekend, and we just walked everywhere all weekend (except for the second night, when we had dinner reservations at Christiana Campbell's -- for that we took the shuttle bus :rolleyes:).

I will be there!!!! Arriving on Friday morning, and I will be bringing some pens with me, for those who might be interested in buying or trading. I'm particularly interested in finding vintage Japanese pens.

Just received a bunch of vintage Japanese pens. Will bring to show. Wil be ariving on friday as well.

This will be my second DC show and I am really looking forward to it! One question I did have is when are weekend trader pass holders allowed in to the show on Saturday? The website wasn't that helpful and I am trying to decide whether to attend Thursday through Saturday or just the weekend like last time. Thanks.

My experience is that if you have a weekend trader pass you are allowed in to the show during all posted hours (i.e. before 10am). I have been able to get in between 8am and 9am.

Looking for an Omas Arco Verde...the one that got away.

I am not an exhibitor - just a good ol buyer. Can I attend on the Friday or will i have to attend on Sat / Sun?
