Red And Black Go Together?

Here is the latest pen I just finished. I tried using the plain black cap to calm down the wild blank a little. I'm still deciding whether or not it worked....

Pen is almost 6 1/2" long closed

14mm cap to body

9mm section to body

I'd be interested to know everyone's opinion good or bad. If it is awkward I can always make another one :D .

Jeff.

Come see some of my handmade pens!!!

Fun looking pen....like the black end cap detail.....

Would be nice to see a pic of entire pen when capped....

Wild, but not crazy wild...feral, maybe. And yet tasteful. I like it a lot.

+1 for the capped pic. The red explodes from that blank, instead of bleeding or fading into the black. Very nice contrast. Wondering how a small finial on the barrel would look. I like how you used the blank throughout, instead of using black for the section. In this pen it works well.
