Fuyugare.

Want Need . . . :puddle:

Can't read Japanese :wallbash:

+1

From the look of Fuyugare, Diamine Graphite is going to be pretty close in colour, apart from that touch of steely blueness that distinguishes the Sailor. I'm a big fan of subtle colours.

"Grey" is the new "Black" for me at the moment brunico and I too like the subtlety shown. I smell a sample of Graphite being ordered soon (ish)

My sample of Fuyo-Soyogun was too light in general use for me as was my bottle of Gris Nuage but yesterday I put Gris Nuage in a Derwent water brush, neat, and oh my - perfect for shading.

I love how it darkens at the edges.

Sailor Kobe 46 however is still one, if not my favourite, sketching ink.

Some fantastic looking inks, Fuyugare looks particularly nice.

The second on that list of inks you linked is interesting... it looks like Lamy Neon Coral in a bottle.

  • 4 weeks later...

I just placed my order for all these last night, finally. Turns out Cigar was sold out, but when they called the store the salesperson found one last bottle in stock. I'm really glad I snagged it.

Pictures to come when I get the bottles!

Hmmm.

Some of them look interesting, but not sure if I really need more ink. Already have ~41 bottles. And, I'm guessing that these aren't waterproof.

What is it with the Japanese and pens + inks. Yikes.

And pfagh - wintry desolation. Winter's my favorite time of year. Some say the conditions match my personality. Besides, outside of the mountains, winter can't be that bad in Japan. Winter has its own distinct beauty. Especially when you wake up and it's cold enough that hoarfrost is covering everything, and you can see ice crystals floating around in the air. If there's no wind, -20-30F isn't all that bad.

Need? What is that word?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Same here!

About the inks, they are beautiful, no doubt. I am using black inks a lot at the moment, but do love looking at all those unique Sailor inks. Thanks for sharing!
