FYI: I posted a review this evening of my new Etruria with a stock italic nib. You can find it here: Stipula Facetted Etruria In Champagne Celluloid With An Italic Nib

Enjoy!

That's a beauty, David, and I know those stock italics are awesome

Enjoy it

That champagne celluloid is a gorgeous material and it's a fine looking pen. I enjoyed the review.

I've had a few Stipulas and found the quality control to be a bit spotty, but it looks like you have a real winner there. I like the wood pen, too.

Thanks, whichwatch.

I've read about problems particularly with the Stipula converters. Do you know if they have improved lately, or are problems still occurring?

I never had any trouble with a converter. I had one pen with cap threads not quite right, and other pens with smaller workmanship issues that were mostly appearance related

congrats on a great pen and congrats buying it from bry

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Thank you, Georges! This nib has actually gotten better as it has been "broken in." There is an update in the Pen Reviews Forum
