Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Yay! Package arrived safely and speedily.

Thanks Amber. I really appreciate being part of this wonderful test.

After clearing up the mess from a particularly poor fill, I attach my initial findings:

http://www.taskyprianou.com/fpn_amber_BA_8_percent.jpg

http://www.taskyprianou.com/fpn_amber_BA_8_percent_stillman_and_birn.jpg

I love how it splits when washed over (Post box on Stillman & Birn) but am not in love with the colour it splits into - fussy I know

My main niggle is that the ink at 8% is too free flowing in my test pen.

This pen can produce some gorgeously thin and expressive lines but I felt everything was a "medium" today with the BA ink.

Feathering on cheap paper is an issue too sadly.

The smell is divine, devine if you like Germoline - which I do. Reminds me of school and scraped knees in the playground etc.

Overall I like the ink and it's, to me, unique colouring and properties.

I'm not a big user of blue so far and the only other ink I have that comes close in colour is WES Imperial Blue although it is way more saturated and much closer towards the purple end of things.

Looking forward to playing with some a little more diluted when the "Parase" runs dry.

Much love and happiness and thanks again for your time and generosity. :)

Here it was after it arrived in the mail.

I am a bit late to this but here is my (brief) review. It is my first review and I have missed out a few points but I will write a bit more on some other types of paper later.

Wow! Now that's what I'm talking about! Her art using fountain pen ink is truly an inspiration, including her calligraphy. If she is not a professional artist, she has missed her calling! That's not you she's casting as the judge, is it? How clever and hopefully, an alias to protect your privacy!

This ink didn't make it into production, but I will miss it. Thank you, Susemai for letting us try it.

Do we have a more finalized estimate of which inks made the cut? I haven't been posting my reviews lately, I've been storing them up at home. I have 3 right now and I'm working on Green Diamond...which is so very wonderful. What a color. I've been pairing it with Diamine Syrah, and Diamine Royal Blue for my work notes. So dreamy.

Please say green diamond made the grade.

For cost production reasons, the Cashmere line is the first in production. The Ball group is not being considered right now because production costs shot up. The Diamond line needs some tweaks which is sort of sad, because the colors of the Diamond line are STUNNING.
