Amber! Oh, wow! Would you recommend some favorite inks of yours that have good longevity?

I'm just getting started with fountain pens. I have 5 (wait while I go count them.... yes, five) bottles of ink.

We'll make that it's own thread....

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Thanks for posting this. It does show an interesting and attractive result.

I wonder about the 5th list item though:

Is that self-referential to the list itself? (Ever item in the list ends with a period.) Yes I am being pedantic, but I am also curious. It could be that you are referencing a different kind of list.

The list was comments of things to be corrected on the drawing it was written on; elsewhere on the drawing there was a typed list of notes (1., 2., 3., etc).

Within this there was a sub-list (i., ii., iii. etc) each ending with a semi-colon - my comment to the person correcting the drawing was to remove these with the only punctuation being a period at the end of the last item as none of the items were complete sentences.

So, this was written for a colleague who I could discuss them with; was definitely not written with the intention of posting it here; and nowhere near as comprehensive (or as wonderful) as Amber's systematic comparisons.

Oh, and you use a ';' in #5 :P

*ducks*

Yes, it should have been a comma.

Looking over 'my' written list again I am not following my own style guidance! :P
