I don't think that cited differences of, for example, 5/100 ml are either reliable or meaningful (in a couple of ways).

The PenBBS 456 has a barrel capacity of 2ml; however, due to its filling system, it will only take up 1,5ml (1,9ml when you pull all the stops). Perhaps filling upside-down from something like the Visconti Travel Inkwell would achieve a complete fill, but I don't feel that 0,1ml would make much of a difference here.
