Chelpark Sona Piston Filler

Hello Hari,

 

Hope all is well in Mumbai. Per your question, the Chelpark inks perform beautifully. Their colors are bright, and they dry well. Thus far, I have used the inks only in cartridges which I've filled via syringe. Although this particular thread concerns Chelpark, how do Brill inks perform?

Bril blue is excellent, so is their Green. Laurel Rose is Unique but stains transparent pens, other colors are nothing to write home about.

 

BTW, the Indian postal service finally delivered the 500ml bottle of Bril blue and a bottle each of bril green and black at Hotel Shelton a few days after the guest had departed.

ya, even I have not seen it in Pune or Mumbai. But, as you start traveling towards the south of India, you will start seeing this ink in the shops. HTH.

I ordered another Chelpark Sona. Merely 10-20 pieces are left with Mr. Subramaniam. So I thought I will not let this piece of history fly away. It is a shining example of excellent Fountain Pens introduced in India.

This shop is set up be the ebay india seller -sundaystreets. He has good products, but charges huge prices. He keeps on changing the store name.

Sad to say, I bought a Hero 359 for 650 INR when I was a newbie and did not know it was a Lamy ripoff.
