The two new topics are Blue Cashmere and Black Balled. Be sure to sign up on both threads. I hope to send them out this weekend, they are super cool.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Hey, I have had kindergardeners participate in my other tests.

That goes to show that even crayons fade.

We would love any participation. Besides, not everyone can do the amazing reviews like Sandy1.

So, back stage, we've had some questions asked about various Amber tests. Here are some various answers.

I spent about 3 or 4 hours reading through the Akkerman thread yesterday after I asked you about that. I'm sad to hear the 150mL bottles are gone. That would have been neat to aqcuire. I'll have to save up and get a few of the 60 mL bottles though. I love the reservoir system. Thank you Amber.

Susemai, I was told you read these, which makes sense. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experiment and review your wonderful inks.

Does anyone know much about the ink manufacturing process? I'd be curious to know how the viscosity of the ink is managed. So far my two samples, Blue Amber and Black Amber, have been on the wet side. I don't state this as a problem, just an observation. I'm loving this inky fun. I enjoy learning how stuff works, and ink is a huge mystery to me right now. I put it in my pen, and I write with it, but there are so many things I'm learning. Great fun.

Ehm... I'm a bit late...

Is there any room left? If so, count me in, please!

I will try my best at reviewing the ink, if all the top requisites are fulfilled!

Regards,

Iacopo

Send me PM's with you addresses. I'm asking people outside CONUS help with the shipping costs. The samples for the first four inks have gone out, but I can add you to the next set.

Well, for now they are as follows:

The first set of inks are nick-named as follows:

Blue Batch A = Blue Amber

Blue Batch B = Blue Balls

Blue Batch C = Blue Cashmere

Blue Batch D = Blue Diamond

Black Batch A = Black Amber

Black Batch B = Black Balled

Black Batch C = Black Cat

Black Batch D = Black Diamond

You have to stick with Blue or Black to designate which group and the A - D to designate which batch.

If you're willing to have me, I'd love to help out with the ink testing process, and have a chance to try out some of these inks ( or others) without buying them. (At the moment, Im under a strict NO BUY from the parents when it comes to ink and pens). :P but I would love to find out how to become a part of this!! I hope I'm applying for this correctly...

Remember if you try this at home, kids, use easy to clean pens.

Also, keep in mind those are very different batches - so they may not want to play well together.

Thank you Cyber6 and DCWaites for the combos.

The mix turns two fun and good colors into wow. I'm a sucker for blue blues.

Impressive, I agree. I'd not seen the blue diamond before so that's an interesting addition as well, although it's a bit light in color in its pure form. But mixed... indeed, wow, and it sort of suggests a mindboggling (for me) avenue of mixes... Gotta get something of that ilk.

PS: what is the concentration? it seems very saturated...

The swatches you see are 16%... DCWaites did the original mix at 8% and is reporting "shading to die for".. his words.. :P

Can't wait until it's finally my turn... Not one of the SUSEMAI inks has arrived here yet... And I haven't seen a list for Blue diamond, so won't be getting that, probably...
