I'm in like Flynn. Please let me play with ink. My fingers still have some skin tones and need a new inky coating. I'm newer to fountain pens and bottled ink, so I can't promise comprehensive comments regarding things like lubrication and dryness. I'll give it my all though. Thank you for pointing at this post amberleadavis.

I would love to participate with the blue batches since I love blue. I think the ink should be sent as any seller would, diluted to its formulated strength to avoid variations determined by users, type of water, etc… Not all waters are the same.

Oldtimer, you left the PM conversation without adding your name. Do you not want to participate?

Unfortunately I will not join the test other than being an avid reader of the results... But what I find intriguing so far is that with so many exotic hue inks being talked daily on FPN, in the end, when the rubber hits the road, everyone wants to test a BLUE. Yes a BLUE. The good old faithful BLUE. :P

The eternal quest for the ideal blue. When we embark on it, we admit that blue, too, can be exotic. Especially if the most important characteristic of the ideal blue is that it does not have a constant hue - some want shading, some want sheen, others do want constancy - and that is just in one ink. But tomorrow, the ideal blue may be a different blue...

And then, whoever said we would not jump to test some exotic colors? Are you offering?

Amber, what is the lighter blue ink you used in the writing at the start of this post? I'm sure the scanner brightened it up, but still. Also, are all of the samples going to be put up on a mass review? I'm guessing no due to the "super secret" nature of the inks. Also, are these inks going to be for sale at some point in the foreseeable future? If I find one I really love I'm going to go looney searching for an adjunct color.

I need to put a paper order into gouletpens or Andersonpens I guess. Who else sells paper out there worth patronizing?

Pilot Blue in a Cartridge for a Plumix.

So, yes, the inks will hopefully be for sale in the future - it depends on our results.

As for paper, try the first batch with papers you have around you.

OH, the Blue Diamond is repeated so don't get excited. Also, I have one more black ink because Susema loves me more than he loves the other Super Secret Tester.

Hell yes, if you would have me! I already spend an unreasonable amount of time with ink related stuff, I might just as well be useful. And it would most likely stop my unhealthy procrastination habits when it comes to ink reviews.

Okay, you've been added to the PM, be sure to send me your addresses (not on this thread). The first envelopes have already left the building.

Super Secret Ink Minion pointed out that the Minion received 8 colors, and Queen of Ink and Minion of Ink only received 7 colors. So Susema loves Ink Minion most.
