Do You Want To Be An Ink Tester?

Also, would you rather receive it concentrated and dilute it yourself or receive it at the correct strength?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I can do either dilute or concentrate. I also vote for blue. :)

Am I running late as usual? I've noticed you seem to live to tempt me with this inky extravagance! If I'm not to late for the assigning of elves, or if per chance we've made it to troll on the faerie scale, please count me in!

Ignore the loud noise in the background. If I've told her once I have said it a thousand ti.... What? I haven't said it once? Oh, sorry. Yes dear, I will clean my own mess.

Blue would chime in excellently with my current interest. And I think concentrated would be best. Don't fly water when you don't need to. But, instructions for how much water to add to get a normal ink might then be required...

I am so looking forward to this. I've got a nice number of empty bottles lined up already...

mhguda had a good point. Part of the reason for concentrated, or powdered ink is that shipping water, even if you're carrying it yourself, takes weight that may not be needed.

I say to ship it concentrated with instructions. I would imagine it would eventually be sold undiluted, so this could also test our ability to actually follow instructions. (oh, no! I'm in trouble already!)

Blue is fine, black is fine, either one.

Woot woot!

Also, would you rather receive it concentrated and dilute it yourself or receive it at the correct strength?

The correct strength would make it easier to compare different experiences. On the other hand, if everyone follows the instruction for diluting ...

I would like to see blue ink and to receive it at the correct strength.

I'll keep on struggling, 'cause that's the measure of a man.

I've just realized that I have far more pens than I have inks, so I'd love to try out something exotic and new! I'll take the concentrated form - I have access to sufficient gadgetry and resources that I can reconstitute it accurately with ease. I have a slight preference for blue or purple, but I'm fine with anything.

Yes, I want to become an ink tester for fun and profit. Or just for fun, or ... nevermind, I would love to test out the inks. One advantage or sending out the ink at the proper strength is uniformity in testing. However, sending out concentrated ink would be a real world test of the viability of selling ink in a powder form.

I think blue would be fun to start with, might be able to show a bit more character than a black.

On the form of the ink, it depends on our judgement of the ink's properties (therefore correct concentration) or a sale-environment (undiluted).

Oh, please, pick me, pick me!

I would also vote for blue.

And either concentrated or correct strength would be fine, but I can't promise to get distilled water, which would be a pain.

I would love to participate with the blue batches since I love blue. I think the ink should be sent as any seller would, diluted to its formulated strength to avoid variations determined by users, type of water, etc… Not all waters are the same.

Not sure if you would need more participants. This sounds like an exciting prospect and I would be willing to help out. However, I have never done an ink review before. I have some inks that I need to review (currently have no reviews on FPN), and I think I have all the raw ingredients I need to do a review (pens, papers); but, I have not figured out what all I want to do for a review. I suppose selection here would force me to figure that out though.
