Not as far as I know, the information came from a source that should be pretty accurate. If I have been misled, I apologize though. Either way we'll find out in about a week or two

No accusations just saying it seemed the normal fan fair around the release was not apparent. I hope its soon as I like big Japanese style pens with music nibs.

I'm not sure it'll be Japanese style, have the other Noodler's pens been Japanese?

To me it resembles the old Japanese Eyedroppers, or the modern Namiki Emperors and the like. The Konrad is based on old German piston fillers and the Ahab is it's own design, I think based on whales. The names kind of indicate the inspiration.

I haven't been looking at the twitter feed. She said she'd announce it there first. She was not precise in stating exactly how long we would wait. I was guessing late this week or sometime next week.

The last time I posted it I got reported. I'm not willing to get kicked off the FPN for getting in trouble and not heeding warnings. The person who supplies everyone with the ink, including the Goulet's has a feed out there on twitter. She said she'd mention it there first.

I was sort of on the fence about the music nib. I thought it might be too broad for my tiny writing, but I'm sold after that review. I'm ready for this pen...let it gooooooooo.

I've been told it's about two weeks away. They were aiming for a late July release, but likely early August by the time shipments make it to all the retailers. Noodler's release dates are typically somewhat flexible.... weeks can become months, as evidenced by this thread date. Nathan is still working on QC to make sure there is a good batch ready to go. I believe it will be released in ebonite first, with acrylic to follow in the upcoming months.

 

As soon as we have a confirmed shipment, including specific colors and SKUs, we'll be sure to broadcast it far and wide! I just don't have enough information to list it on our website yet. Will keep you posted, I promise.
