Hi all,

 

I've been looking all over for a thread for showing off ink and pen storage, and all I found were the ones in the photography section. Then someone pointed me to this thread because it turns out you all are talking about me here! (Well, talking about my sketches, anyway. . . that's my "leafless in Seattle" up there.) So here's what I've been wanting to share -- this 19th century Japanese "shop box." I had been looking for quite some time for some sort of antique set of drawers like this, but the tricky part was that most had drawers that were too shallow to fit my rather large collection of Pilot Iroshizuku inks, whose bottles are a bit tall. Container Store has lots of divided storage. I use a lipstick tray for ink vials.
