A Few Ghosts....

WOW

Let me guess, that's on vellum.

It's an old pad of Canson Tracing Paper --I love it for displaying ink color; the ink just lays on top all bright and shiny. Some inks show sheen that you'd never normally see on regular bond paper.

I just tried a sheet as a gift from Attika69. It has a unique look. Thank you for sharing.

Time to get this thread back on track by providing Amber with more avatars, such as:

the very first ghost, in over 17 pages of posts, in the vulnerable state.

Made with blechmix blue and a 3.8mm Pilot Parallel. That pen will desaturate ANYTHING.

This arrived today. Thank you!

One of my husband's fourth grade students made a ghost out of fruit punch play dough. Thought you might enjoy it...

Did you name it fruit punch or is it flavored/edible now? That's pretty cool.

Perhaps someone could do some cookies in that shape?

Alas I am not the baking type myself. Don't mind doing the cooking, but baking is beyond me (and not much use either with my better half being gluten free and myself on a diet...)

Actually, we make it at home in 3 giant batches, and it costs a fraction of packaged play dough. For color we use unsweetened Kool-Aide packets (color but no sugary stickiness), and the best flavors are cherry, fruit punch, orange, and lime.

Anyone want the recipe? ;)

Lisa's Play Dough Recipe

5 cups of flour

1 cup salt

6 packages of UNsweetened Kool-Aid

1/2 cup vegetable oil

4 cups BOILING water

1. In a very large bowl, mix well dry ingredients (flour, salt, Kool-Aid).

2. Add oil and boiling water. Mix well with a very sturdy wooden spoon. Mix will be a bit crumbly.

3. Turn out mixture onto counter, and let it cool a bit. Knead like bread with hands. TAKE CARE: the dough will be very hot.

4. Divide up into portions, and store in airtight ziplock bags.

5. Let your creativity loose!

Do you bake it to make it keep it's shape?
