I love everything about this thread. Thank you all!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Paul Signac "Place des Lices". A very liberal interpretation since:

- Signac was a hardcore pointillist while I'm definitely not gonna draw 20,000 dots per tree :P

- I'm in a Halloween mood :happyberet:

Thank you!!!

I'd mentioned that I love pointillism. These are all so FAB!!

Your paintings are gorgeous! May I ask how you do them?

Thanks, Suji. After several experiments I settled on watercolors on 4"x6" (postcard) cold pressed watercolor paper. Basically I draw the outlines in pencil, then reinforce them with a 03 permanent marker, then paint the colors. Sometimes I use diluted FP ink instead of watercolors. The space is quite cramped, so I pick subjects with rather low detail level. Once Amber reduces them to avatar size they look very crisp though :)

This is stunning! Hard to choose a favourite of yours, but this one is Up There for me.

Love the snail :)

:D It's going the wrong way, though.

Just a random thought that popped into my head. I had just sent Amber some sketches and forgot the handwritten letter on my desk - hence the mail getting left behind in the snail lane.

The eyes were ink splotches that bled through from the page before.
And since they sort of look like eyes,
I thought it was time to go on a mini ghost spree.

Up close, and possibly too personal.

Done with some Dragon Catfish Green and Year of the Golden Pig that got gunky in my preppy.

(That ink "died" and became a ghost...)
