Franklin-Christoph Models #2 and #3. I just haven't yet decided on whether to get this Smoke and Ice version of #2 or the Anderson Pens Blue.

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!

Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!

The Muse and Literati from Scriptorium are pretty gorgeous. My newest fountain pen was made in West Germany. Maybe it's time for a new one?

I've decided that my next fountain pen will be another glass nib pen. I really like that very special way of writing ..... ( and, yes, the way people look at those pens ). So, gogogo to Ebay .....

I was not looking to buy any pens, but while in Israel last week, the friend I was visiting gave me a Parker 180 (M/EF nib). What a great pen!

I love the look of the Pelikan M800 in stirated green and black, and as much as I'd like one, I thought it was a bit ridiculously priced, but I just made about $100 selling books, and that gave me an idea -- I've been donating most of the stuff I'm getting rid of, but if I hold a garage sale, then that's basically money I would have otherwise given away, so if I spend garage sale money on a nice pen, there's no loss. Right?

I am keeping an eye out for a Parker 45 in grey. Fine, if I can get it, or XF if they ever came in XF. I don't even know that, must take a trip over to the Parker forum.

Next pen for sure is probably going to be another Pilot Metropolitan F, this time purple. I want a black or white one for work, too, and then I'll bring my Nemosine home for nib-swapping. I have a couple more ink sample batches to buy before I'll be spending much on a single pen. Oh, also want to find a pen I can dedicate to Apache Sunset. :P

After my ink sample purchases are done for the time being, my next pen over/around 50.00 will probably be either a Pilot Prera, or a TWSBI 580 F of some kind. (I am planning to add a TWISBI XF nib so I can switch between the two).

I'm pretty sure it will be Visconti HS Crystal LE. Depends on whether I will be able to resist the temptation of buying a couple of Safaris before then.

I'm at the point where I own about 20 pens and have 5 pens I really like in them and I've bought 3 serious pens this year so I don't really see the point in squandering money on any more this year. When I have the pen bug again I will buy a pen on my short list which I am adding to at the moment.

So next pen already as previously mentioned I do like the Pelikan Twist, Worther Compact add the Diplomat Excellence and Balance and probably a few others. So which ever one of these stick by Christmas I will buy.

'The Yo-Yo maneuver is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

So we left it at that. He showed us the maneuver after a sort. B*****d stole my kill.'

changed my mind again....

My goal is to hit the Classic Fountain Pens booth at the SF show and decide if the Naka-ai, Neo-Standard, or DFv1 is for me. THen try several nib grinds to complete the FP.

For now the Naka-Ai Ao-Tamenuri writer with Ruthium nib and clip with soft ef is in the lead.

I still want a Karas Ink, but the nib is starting to look smaller and smaller to point of not fitting the overall design very well.

Yeah, I lust over Nakayas everyday. I need to hear some negative reviews about them to even myself out.

My Visconti Wall Street LE should be here on Monday. After that I am done for at least two weeks! :D

So far this month it's been another TWSBi, a Parker 75 Insignia, Montblanc 90th 146, Lamy 2000, and now the Visconti... I think that I should be good for a while. Back to buying ink! :D
