Yes I think so but they are a bit clumsy posted. More suitable to be unposted. If you go to page 41 of the catalogue you can see it's quite a large pen so would feel a little clumsy posted

Thanks for the reply. I see how it posts, there must be place to insert the cap in the finial. That is a nice catalog as well. I recently purchased a Diplomat to fill out my collection of modern German fountain pens.

Which model did you for? I've got an Excellence A and Aero pencil. Thinking I will add a second Excellence but with a gold nib at some point as well.

I ordered an Diplomat Excellence A Chrome Guilloch Fountain Pen from Cult Pens in the UK. I do like the pen. It does tend to dry out if not used for several days. I do live in the desert, though.

I ordered an Diplomat Excellence A Chrome Guilloch Fountain Pen from Cult Pens in the UK. I do like the pen. It does tend to dry out if not used for several days. I do live in the desert, though.

Nice choice I find the Excellence A one of the most comfortable pens I have ever used mine works well with Mont Blanc inks.

I think I tried Pelikan Black because I read somewhere that Pelikan makes the Diplomat ink. I'll try MB, next.

A client just back from holidays in Thaïland brought me a present : on a market, he saw that Montblanc Greta Garbo and remembered I was a Fountain pen addict so he bought it for me .... He told me that they had plenty of Montblanc pens (and watches) at a near to zero price ....

I didn't test it yet but I will soon ..... And, yes, you guessed it .... It's a cheap fake .....

I know, resistance is futile! It's just the variable nib reviews that are putting me off.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Many Pelikans work well out of the box, the rest can be tuned up fairly easily. They are wonderful writers.

I think I lasted about a week! The pen is so beautiful IMO.

That Waterman is quite striking. One of them with a stub nib keeps calling my name, very softly.
