I'd like it to be a Pelikan Souverän M805 Stresemann.

 

I suppose it's a matter of how long it takes me to convince myself the expenditure won't be extravagant, and what other nibbage presents itself meanwhile.

I have a soft spot for Pelikan and always want to have this, the M40 White Tortoise. The problem is i already have 2 M400, one green and one black. I just wonder how long i could resist the tempting to get the hand on this one.

I have a Visconti Homo Sapiens on its way to me, but it will not arrive before my upcoming trip so I'll have to wait 3 weeks to see it. On the other hand, during the trip I will pick up a couple of M805s (Stressemann and demonstrator)... I hope I can resist and stop there!

I also would like to have that beauty one of those days ( I have to admit that I love many Pelikan at the moment ) but something else caught my eyes ..... The Pininfarina pen ......

@ Thier, congratulations for your Faber Castell !!!!! Concerning the Pininfarina, I have had a look on it at my favourite shop but it's too thin for me. However, it looks so cute !!!

My next fountain pen will be a ... nib! I ordered an OBB nib for my Pelikan M800. With some luck, I should receive it by Wednesday

I've seen a Visconti Opera on sale on a second hand website. As the owner is 50 kms far, I.ll go and have a look on it (and perhaps more ) in two days ...... I'm mad about (italian ) fountain pens but there is no way of getting rid of that "disease" .......

The ugly truth is i didn't get it yet but get my hand on other 2 vintage Pelikan instead, one 150 and one 250. I just love the vintage nib, which i didn't feel the same on the modern M215.

 

I think that M400 white tortoirse will need to wait after i get my hand on the 100NN.

I am thinking about ordering a custom Menlo from Edison. So many options, I need to figure out exactly what I want in terms of nib and finish. The wait time is pretty long too, I am not sure I have the patience... :rolleyes:

I bought a blue Esterbrook LJ with a 2556 nib last night. Could arrive on Saturday :)
