Truly eye-catching. You are lucky with it, Parker EU isn't listed it any more on its site.

Cheers Thier! It's a simply stunning pen that few other others can compete with. Do you still have your other Premier?

Yes, I still have my other Premier. I don't use it much . I prefer my italian pens's nibs but it comes from time to time in the rotation ......

It's a real scrap !!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps the worst pen I've ever had !!!!!!!

I've just grinded my nib as shown on another thread ....

And, yes some 10 minutes later, the job was done ....

Yes, the nib had a real flex, but then, the ink flow was so bad that it was impossible to write with it ..... So I decided to replace the scrap called "nib" by Noodler by a real flex gold nib from the fifities ...

fpn_1430428379__xe017749.jpg

No way, ink flow is too bad .....

I've never had such a bad pen .... Ok, I should now work on the ink flow but I don't know if I will .... I'm very disappointed by that scrappy pen ..... For such a price, I could have had at least 5 good Jinhaos !!!!!!!

Blue Moon You've made a fine point that it's far better to never need to experience customer service at all. I'll take a look at your thread now. Thanks for the link.

But do consider that there are many of us who never had any trouble with TWSBI. I have three, one 580 and two Micartas and all of them have been flawless from the start. My 580 have been in my daily rotation for a year now without any trouble.

I am thinking about ordering a custom Menlo from Edison. So many options, I need to figure out exactly what I want in terms of nib and finish. The wait time is pretty long too, I am not sure I have the patience...

Plsnt,

nibs.com is the place to go for Pelikan nibs, in my opinion.

http://www.nibs.com/PelikanNibsAvailableForCusto.htm

I have no affiliation, other than being a satisfied customer. Personally, i would would also buy a pen or two to hold the nibs. It is fun to have more than one pen inked at a time.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Hopefully a coworker will live up to his word and sells me his 2012 MB POA Joseph II 4810. He promissed me that it will be in my hands by the end of the week. It has been barely used and has rescently gone to service for clean up. If I get it, it will be for a magnificent good price. If I get it, there will be only one more pen in my radar for a very long time.

Been on a vintage shopping trip and as well as my second 146, which is waiting for me at the Post Office back in Hong Kong, I also have a 31 and a 22 winging their way to my Mum's in the UK ready for me to arrive in 10 days for my holiday/business trip there.

In the land of TWSBI currently (Taiwan), but sadly don't have time to find a shop to have a mooch....

I bought a fine nib from a member of FPN for my M200 because for same reason, i am a fine nib lover. Look for him. When i find him again i can send you a PM. He was fast to deliver and it was a perfect nib. He is in the classifieds.

I've received my third Parker 75. It needed attention and a good cleaning, now it's fully working. Ok, the metal is tarnished but I'm afraid of rubbing it too much so I think it will stay like that .....

I'm in Lamy collection mode, so I'm snatching up limited colors as I find them. Right now I've got the new Neon Lime, the 2013 Neon Yellow, and Pink (not a limited anymore) in my queue.
