I'm very happy with my Mini and TWSBI's customer service. When you look at the threads regarding cracking be sure to note the dates of the posts and the model being discussed. I believe they may have finally solved the cracking problem. I'm ready to purchase another TWISBI as soon as they're back in stock at my preferred dealer(s).

Nope. Recent cracks are still occurring. My soapbox (on another thread) - You can have great customer service, but what's it worth if the pens continue to crack. They need to focus on QC so all the people can stop discovering how great their service is because their pens are no longer cracking.

Check the posts on this thread, including the 2015 dates. It hasn't been fixed.

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!

Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!

Blue Moon You've made a fine point that it's far better to never need to experience customer service at all. I'll take a look at your thread now. Thanks for the link.

I just ordered my first Nakaya - Dorsal Fin v2 Heki Tamenuri (soft medium). The wait begins.

I suspect my "next" pen will arrive long before the Nakaya does.

I'm sure after getting some of that love, it will be stunning!

I hope so. I really like getting those old pens to life ..... Each time, I think I should make "before and after" pictures, but ..... I forget. This time, I will !!!!!!!!

I just saw a photo of one of those on another topic. They are beautiful. They are also out-of-stock in my preferred nib. One of those is in my future, too.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

That pen looks stunning. It's the only premier I actually would consider I just love the art deco appeal of it. Thier by any chance would you review it?

Yes, I'm passionate about Caran d'Ache pens ...... Perhaps because I'm born a few kms far from the manufacture ......

Awaiting delivery of an 80's MB 146 with monotone F nib. Sold my MB 149 a few years ago. Too large and only used it a few times.

Next will likely be a Pelikan M800 Stresemann EF, unless something else comes up.

I wasn't planning on buying more fountain pens for a while, since I just bought a number of them. But I was ordering something else at Amazon and it wasn't going to make free shipping, so I added a Pilot Metropolitan to the order. I also used some credit card reward points to cover it, effectively getting it for free. :)
