Actually looking forward to a Pelikan m805 Stresemann. Had a thing for silver and platinum pens awhile ago, but since my Sailor Imperial Black, been interested in more subtle colors

Those Stresemann seem to be the pen to have at the moment .... :) :)

I personnaly like this one .....

I really do fancy a Mont Blanc Boheme. They just have that kinda something.

Despite that, I just really keep on struggling to pull the trigger on one. So, may go for a Pelikan M200?

Don't know - it's all just so difficult....and sooooo many pens..

The question makes me feel like a Hollywood mogul with a well-worn casting couch. Nothing special, as long as it looks good and performs well

I've been holding off on a TWSBI 580. Still deciding between Rose Gold or an orange AL. Most likely biting the bullet next week.

Parker Frontier. The nib is ugly and already doomed. I bought it uniquely to make a Frankenpen with a 1950s Waterman's #5 flex nib and an extra Sonnet converter (they have the same fixture as the Frontier, but I heard the Frontier was drier).

Hello,
I am new to the forum and I hope it is ok that I message you rather than post in a thread - I figured this might be quicker and I specifically wanted to ask you since you own an Ogiva Alba and also have a handwriting which I find seems comparable to my own. I am trying to decide whether to buy the EF or F and whether to go with the extra flessibile or the 18k.
I generally prefer thinner nibs, and I would like some flex in the nib but since the extra flessibile is not a proper flex nib and the 18 k does have some spring both might work for my purposes - which is to add some line variation here and there, such as in capital letters etc. - not for writing whole sentences with flex. Would you say that the Omas F ex is like a standard European F?
Any feedback would be welcome! And any additional writing samples would be fantastic.
Kind regards,
Sofia
Thier.

Sofia, as soon I have a moment, I will write something with the Ogiva and the same with another pen. As I have many pens, perhaps I can compare with a pen (and a nib you know) Just tell me what pens and nibs you're used to ....

Hi again,
I have just tried a Visconti Wall Street in M, n Aurora Ysilon in M as well as a Pelikan M200 in M, and have saved writing sampleas as reference so although I don't own these pens they can be added as possible comparison candidates. In case that helps :-)
Kind regards,
Sofia

I've just spent my pen funds in one go for this year on a Diplomat Excellence A Carya fountain pen. It's a strange pen as I consider it to be beautiful and hideous all at the same time.

I've got a Pelikan M805 Stresemann sitting in customs in Chicago...for the past several days. Not sure what's going on there.

My Visconti Homo Sapiens is on its way home from MikeItWork as of today...
