I felt in love with the Graf Terra ......

Perhaps I will be Terra owner one day, but not soon, I've bought so many pens in a very short time that I have to save money now ....

I seem to have a soft spot for orange pens, and Lamy limiteds. So that Copper Orange Al-Star will one day be mine (but not the Neon Lime Safari I just saw.. ew). Other than that, I really have no plans to buy any pens from major companies right now. Just saving for Scriptorium and Nakaya! Maybe I'll get get some spare nibs, though. I think a black nib would look mighty fine on my Deep Purple Al-Star.

Hmm, I like that look of that Omas nib.

My next pens will probably be more ink experimentation pens (2 more Platinum Plaisirs).

My next "big" pen will be when the red Neponset pens come back in stock.

I don't really have any big purchases on my wanted list at the moment.

Having recently graduated from university, my wife has given permission for a "graduation pen" purchase.

I have probably narrowed it down to

  1. Visconti Van Gogh or Back to Black
  2. Nakaya

I love the look of some Visconti pens, but am worried about their quality control. I would never hear the end of it if I bought one and had to sent it back, service is slow enough in outback Australia.

The price of both a Visconti or Nakaya is a step up from my Pilot Metropolitan and Safari, but I am working up to it with recent purchases of a Monteverde Intima and Lamy Studio. I love the Studio, but have yet to warm to the Monteverde stub nib

I am hoping to be brave enough to pull the pin on my purchase in the next couple of months, if the dollar doesn't fall too far!

I'm with you, teahive. The Copper Orange Al-Star looks very sweet, especially with the matching ink. (And the black nib would make your Deep Purple Al-Star sing.)

I personnaly own 3 Visconti fountain pens (one of it being a Van Gogh Irises) and never have had any problems with it . I really like the way those splendid nibs write : it's smooth like silk on velvet, its juicy as ..... What you want .... Really, you won't be disappointed with a Visconti ....

I did it ..... A few hours ago, I decided to wait for that Graf Intuition Terra but a friend of mine told me that he found a marvellous website with prices up to 50 % cheaper than in Europe !!!!!! So, I ordered it from http://www.stylo.ca/fr/pages/accueil/index.html

In a few days, it will arrive ........... :D :D :D :D :D

I've seen a client writing with it today. I still have to wait more than one week before reciving mine from stylo.can ...... One week can be sooooo long ....... Come on Mr Postman, gogogo .....

I finally gave in and ordered a Lamy 2000M during the last Massdrop group buy. I've been eyeing one for a long time but have always thought the price was too high. Even at the Massdrop price, it's still more expensive than really makes sense to me, but I decided to treat myself for my birthday. It should be headed this way in a couple of weeks. After that comes, the only other pen on my radar will be the TWSBI Vac Mini…if they ever release it.

I think my next will be a Montblanc Writer's Edition for 2015, if it turns out nicely, I wasn't a huge fan of the previous 2-3 years ones, hopefully this year will be a lot more enchanting.

Fountain pens are like weapons. They just make your pocket bleed so much.

As soon as my refund check comes in I have 3 pens I want to order:

  • Lamy 2000 with an EF nib
  • Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Black
  • TWSBI 580 AL with the Pendleton "BLS" nib

or do I go for the Pilot Justus 95 with it hard vs soft nib? or how about the MontBlanc 146 that I have always wanted. Then again there is the Pelikan M800 I have had my eye on forever?

AHHHHHHHH, somebody please stop this madnesssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have asked for, and will probably get, a TWSBI Mini for my birthday in a couple of weeks. Maybe I should ask for some ink too...
