Pilot Falcon soft EF vs. Noodler's Neponset. Waiting on the group consensus on the Neponset upon its release (checks Goulet - nope, not yet).

After reading so much about it on this forum for so long, I finally ordered a Lamy 2000 Stainless Steel with the Gold nib.

I'm quite certain it won't be my next pen, but the Nakaya Long Cigar with the Common Bluebottle design (and a not so common price tag) is the pen I'm saving up for. I likely won't be getting one until I start working, so I've had my eye on another Nakaya, this time a Portable Cigar in Tame-Sukashi with the Seiryu motif. Though before I can buy that pen which is also exceeds my budget, I must first procure a Montblanc 146 in Platinum trim, Pilot Custom Heritage 92 (haven't decided on clear, smoke black or blue) and a Lamy 2000.

My wallet will hate me for the next few years.

I have all 4 colours in the Pilot CH92. I bought the clear one first and couldn't believe how much I loved it, so I had to have the others. If I enjoy my Lamy 2000 almost as much I'll be delighted.

Now that I got my acrylic Konrad in Coral Sea, John Mung is next. And I didn't end up getting my Kaweco Brass Liliput yet, as more limited items caught my eye. So that is still on the list. And an acrylic Noodler's Neponset, whenever they are available. Still saving for an Ama-Iro Nakaya!

You won't regret it! It's a pen I always have in my rotation. :D My Lamy 2000 EF nib is delightfully smooth- I daresay smoother than some of my Medium nibs!

I think I'd like a Montblanc 149 but it's been so many years since I handled one (I had a ballpoint Meisterstuck) I can't recall if I liked it or it was the 146 I preferred. Once I get a chance to handle them both, I'll look into getting one.

I splurged yesterday... I ordered a 3667 with a music nib, a blue 3776 with broad, 2 Pelikans 150 one with medium and one with broad, and 2 lamy lineas. Feeling a bit of a buyer's guilt at the moment, but I was spending way too much time on the internet gawking at these, figured that was one way to stop it :). Now I'm thinking I should sell a few pens from my collection that I almost never use, just to even up. I have a chalana bright gold that sits in its box, and a monteverde invincia that does the same because it's too heavy... Hm... got to start taking pictures.

I am on the (seemingly futile) hunt for a fairly priced Bordeaux Montblanc Mozart 114R.

Meanwhile, I have a few that I need to get rid of.
