Which One Will Be Your Next Fountain Pen ?

My TWSBI USA and Liberty Elysium ink just came in the mail today. So next will be a Pelikan M405 or M605. I haven't decided but it'll be a little further down the road since it's a pretty expensive pen. I considering a White Tortoise as well, but the classic blue stripe Pelikan is calling my name.

I keep thinking that I need the same but with an EF...

I heard a rumor that TWSBI may be discontinuing the rose gold mini. I don't have express permission to name my source, so I wont, but I thought it sufficiently credible to buy two more to have in reserve.

I'm thinking about buying a Twsbi. The only problem is that it's impossible to find it here in Belgium. Buying it from the US would cost more in P&P and customs fee than for the pen itself ...... :-(

Seriously obsessed with the coming Lamy Studio Wild Rubin. Not even a 'red' person, but it calls.

Thanks, Elle. I heard the same and am thinking I need to purchase. I want a Pendleton Brown BLS nib, as I really like the fine BLS on my Classic mini; however, I'm purchasing one of the Hobonichi small planners, & keep thinking I need an EF nib. But, the fine writes fairly fine, so maybe not. But then I want a larger nib to showcase the BLS beauty. I can't purchase two, only one. Sigh. Decisions, decisions...

I pulled the trigger on the E95s; so my next next pen will probably be either the Lamy Studio Wild Rubin or the Vanishing Point Copper 2014 LTD Ed.

Unless something else pushes to the head of the imaginary line.

Pendleton has stubbed all my TWSBI's and they are amazing. I personally feel like even the medium is pretty precise and fine with his BLS. If anyone is on the fence on the TWSBI, I reccomend going for it- those gold minis are gorgeous.

I just learned about Scriptorium Fps. One model, The Idyl, is very close to a Naka-Ai shape and the material, Aluminite, is incredible.

To stay on topic:

Before year end, I want the LE Vista Blue Parker 51 and either an Edison Mina or a Nakaya with cherry blossom maki-e. I would prefer a Nakaya because they're legendary but I can get custom maki-e on the Mina, and it's a prettier design. One will be my Christmas present from my husband so it can be a little bit expensive.

Saw that! Its breathtaking!

Just to be on topic a little:

My "next" pen is still a black M1000 EF, but considering that I got a Pelikan 500 set in a heartbeat...I don't know.

Lets just say the BigBird is my next PLANNED pen

Baoer 3035. Under $4, shipping incl. I tried one from a friend and was quite impressed. Will be my first silver pen. Sleek, classic design, really nice click-close. I am officially "not buying" pens right now, but at under 4 bucks, this is like paying a toll. So it doesn't count.

I've got a few lined up. In order of planned purchase:

A Franklin-Christoph p40 with a Musayama medium cursive italic (want to get the 18k nib, but debating if it's worth the extra $100 or so)

Sailor 1911 in M

Delta Italiana in white ivory

A TWSBI 580 with the rose gold furniture, possibly a stub.

Would like the get one of those Black Luster or Imperial Sailors, but it's difficult justifying so much extra expense for a cosmetic difference.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

I am going back and forth on whether to purchase the copper Vanishing Point. Trying to think whether I have an ink that would suit it. I think I do. Apache Sunset.
