Which One Will Be Your Next Fountain Pen ?

Ended up getting the Noodler's Ahab Crow after all (among some other items), and it looks like I'll be able to treat myself either to a Pilot Falcon Soft EF OR a Kaweco Lilliput Brass EF and cartridge ink next month. But which one?! It's a harder decision than it should be.

TeaHive, in french we have an expression saying "Choosing is dying a little bit" . We love you here, please don't choose, don't die, take both ...... ;-)

That's a beautiful saying. I might have to put it in one of my stories! And it seems to be very true. I'll eventually get both pens, but the decision is which one to get first. I can't afford both at the same time, unfortunately! :P

Saying from André Gide, a famous french author ..... I can understand it 's hard to buy everything we want directly but, in another hand, waiting for something is a part of the pleasure ....... Life would 't be so nice without dreams, hopes, desires, .....

Very true, which is why I'm not TOO anxious about the decision, but only jokingly so. Whichever one I do get next, it will be amazing.

Next pen is the Edison Glenmont LE group buy, and possibly a Parker 75 Sterling with the crosshatch pattern.

Everything else will have to wait a bit while I save my pennies to buy a new toy from Omega that's calling my name...

Next pen on my planned list is the Pilot Custom 743 Falcon nib. I currently have 43 USD saved on it.

But.... my unplanned list a Music Nib on a 3776. (Unplanned means that I have 0 dollars saved for it and if I find a good sale I'll take money from the other things I'm saving for.)

#Nope

Although I have many pens on my bucket list, I am wanting to get into flex nibs and stubs next, so I can't hardly wait for the Noodlers Neponset to become available and will be picking up some #6 Goulet stub nibs and a Jinhao 159 or 750 next.

Oh, I've got my eye on the copper Vanishing Point 2014 limited edition, and the "Wild Rubin" Lamy Studio calls my name (which is strange, since we've never met); I think the Pilot E95S has my number, and I've been thinking a long while about a Kaweco, but--

No decision has been reached. Heck, two, possibly three, depending on the Kaweco model, are currently Unobtanium, so it's academic for the most part.

(The one pen I would seize without hesitation were I to find myself in a position to do so would be the Neponset, but, again, Unobtanium).

I know that for my birthday to come I will receive a Visconti Van Gogh .... It should have been a surprise from my wife but my little daughter speaks too loud ..... I've heard her speaking about it with her mum ...... Well, I didn't said nothing and, on the 16'th of this month, I'll try to be surprised ...... Well, I'll be a little bit because I don't kow the color yet ...... So, one of my next pens will be a Visconti Van Gogh .....

I have an exciting week ahead. Two Parker 51's have been sent to me from England: a beautiful teal, and a "fantasy" one in hot pink.

I have a Waterman with a flexible nib in my mail box, at home, from Richard's pen tray.

A vintage Pelikan 205 bought here in Classifieds.

A TWSBI Micarta with a Pendleton nib (bad boy with flex), also bought here from Classifieds. I am hooked on Pendleton nibs.

AND a hot pink Pilot Vanishing Point Special Edition AND a Levenger's Pinkly Demonstrator, also bought through Classifieds from a very nice man who responded to my WTB.

ALL coming this week.

Oh dear. That is seven pens. And I told my husband I had all the pens I needed for now and would be slowing down. Ummm, this looks bad.

BUT -- I am starting to plan my next major purchase.

A cherry blossom pen, either Nakaya or a custom urushi Edison. I haven't decided which. It will be a Christmas present, from someone to me, so exempt from pen guilt. :-)

Waiting on a vintage Pelikan Silvexa m20, so next I've got my eyes on either a more traditional vintage Pelikan, a Lamy 2000, or a MB Monte Rosa.

The Highlander was a documentary, and the events happened in real time.

I've just decided to take my Lamy 2000 out from his tray one hour ago. It really is a fantastic pen. Not an eyecatcher but a very smooth writer ..... Great choice .....

Either a Twsbi Rose Gold stub, or a Namiki Falcon EF.

I keep thinking that I need the same but with an EF...

A grey or white Lamy Safari. I know it's nothing exciting. But you can never have too many Safari's! A gold nib from Lamy would be nice to replace the factory steel nib. I can just swap it out to which ever Safari I'm using at the time.
