I know I"m supposed to be economizing at the moment, but I don't see the sterling overlay Morrisons come up nearly as often as the gold filled ones. And I keep telling myself that it was less expensive than another Parker Shadow Wave (not sure my husband will buy that argument, but it's too late for him to do anything about it.... ). I went up a tiny bit more than I'd meant too, but still not too bad, I think.

Honestly, I got outbid with about 5 minutes to go, and when I rebid I kept expecting to get sniped....

Tomorrow, I will receive a few Jinhao Lamy Safari lookalike of different colors. For 2 each including p&p , I couldn.t resist ...... The problem is that I've forgotten how many I've ordered and the colors ...... Let´s wait one more night and gogogo to the post office .......

As for fountain pens, I may get the last Lamy I've had my eye on, a Safari Charcoal with EF nib, for pure writing with black ink and black ink only. But I also really want that TWSBI Rose Gold mini!

We are kindred spirits! I have just ordered the same charcoal Safari for exactly the same reason, AND I am seriously lusting after that TWSBI Rosegold mini

I want a pen for my 20th birthday and for my school work.

 

I would go for a Platinum 3776 NICE in SF / F (The rose gold trimming is so lovely.)

If that is out of stock in local store, I would go for Pilot Custom 823 in F, (I want a FA but I heard it is only available in Japan.)

If that is also out of stock, I would buy a Sailor 1911 in F.

 

 

If none of above is available, I would buy a 3776 Chartes blue in SF/ F.

I remember you mentioned transparent green and I just couldn't believe it. Looked everywhere, they were just not available. Yes, there was green one and transparent orange/grey/blue. Few days later it just popped up on ebay - won the auction for £2, lol

Pen is ok and it goes reaaaaaly well with Diamine Jade Green, so thank you

I think I'm going to get a Franklin-Christoph 02 in emerald, really like the FC pens and love the emerald color.

Im thinking for now because I have a wedding in a month I'm going to stick to try and improve the performance of some of my old parkers I have 4 -45s none of which function as flawlessly as they should, either good flow and scratchy or vice versa so a few hours on the bench should take care of that. I think I need some smoothing on my lamy 2000 as well.

 

My favorite pen is my Edison Beaumont pneumatic in black and violet ebonite with 18k rhodium nib. So therefore I would like to get another one at 2015 Philly show

If something comes up before then I may go Parker Premier Monochrome.
