My side table. How fortunate that I recently cleaned this thing. ;P There are a lot of Dr. Martins, Speedball and Winsor Newton inks in there... and sumi... and some of those jars in the back are ink mixes... some Noodler's and Carbon Ink too, for my fountain pens. I use a lot of brushes/ dip pens in my professional work with fountain pens as an accent. We'll see how my fountain pen ink collection grows once my flex pens come in.

Because I do a lot of watercoloring, I like waterproof inks.

My son noticed the exacto. Thanks for sharing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

No, I'm a math student! :) I just have a little experience with programming with Math based languages such as Maple.

Put them back into their boxes and did a little organization. A few of the Diamine inks and the MB inks are in the box in the lower right:

I used Black Magic Blue on the Bar. I have never tired the Camlins. You are off to a good start.

You have enough ink there to last at least a couple of years, likely more.

Don't worry, you are the normal guy here :P

Room made, the Billy put together by DH and now we have this. I also discovered that I do not have a bottle of Noodlers Dark Matter :/

Very nice. Ooh, do I see a few bottles of Sailor Kobe ink? Which ones do you have?

The praise of the praiseworthy is above all rewards.

Not near enough, Indigo Blue, Maya Lapis and Kounan Maroon. Hopefully my new job will allow me to purchase a few more of these inks than my previous one did.

Very nice!

I just moved into my new place and have yet to move all my books and set out my ink, plus some of my ink and most of my books are in my office... but I have the whole math/ink combination going on as well in my storage room:

  • 3 months later...

I really wish I could get a nice picture of all my ink. <sigh> It just can't be done. I'd have to photograph it in segments, and even then, probably segments of segments.

Wow! That really piques my interest. I'd like to see even a segment. Maybe it will inspire to buy more ink. Or at least organize mine.

Okay. You asked for it! Part of the problem is that my ink collection is in my unfinished, storage area basement (in order for them to stay cool and dark), so the lighting is less than ideal and the background are a mess.

This is my older ink cabinet. It's really thick wood, and I got it for $10 at a garage sale. It reaches up to my armpits, so it's pretty tall.

Here's the inside of one drawer. I organize the inks in this cabinet in terms of colours (ie. all greens in one drawer).

I also use some of these tupperware bins, the large LARGE size.

The bottom two have ink crammed into them - this is one part of my "back up" collection, the bottles of unopened back ups of LE inks I love. Here's a peek inside one. They are tightly packed in there, as you can see.

Then I've got the back up overflow cabinet, that reaches about to my mid thigh.

Here's what a drawer looked like about a year ago. It's much more packed now.

These older pictures do not include a new cabinet I bought with five drawers, that is as tall as my collarbones (I'm 5'7"), and probably about 4 feet wide. The top drawers are filled with ink, three down. the last two are supplies for sample packs I need to make.

Saskia, you need more ink. I see extra space in those drawers.
