There' ve been a few. Let's see. Diamine Sapphire has a bit of water-resistance (good) but it bleeds through and feathers like mad in any sort of paper I tried it. Diamine Onyx is really blackety black but it's also stained any pen I used it with. Pelikan (4001) Red is relatively OK in terms of behaviour but that shade of red (a very bright pinkish red) doesn't do it for me. Noodler's Prime of the Commons has been too greyish in colour and a bit tentative in terms of flow. I now mix it with Ottoman Azure and it's much, much better. Sheaffer Skrip Black has a bit of water resistance but it feathers and bleeds unless used with narrow nibs. Pilot Blue has been the most indifferent kind of blue I've come across. And Noodler's Bulletproof Black has many remarkable properties but consistent flow hasn't been one of them. No offence intended, obviously, to anyone who likes these inks. It's just that they haven't worked that well for me.
