Cumberland With A Roll Stopper

Just finished this commission. A large cigar with a sterling silver frog roll stopper. Fitted with an "Oxonian" italic JoWo broad nib.

John, I've looked at this several times over the last couple of weeks, but it's taken me until today to put my finger on why I like it so much.

 

It's the way you've made the pattern in the Cumberland line up (on both the section and the cap) so it looks like ripples on the surface of a pond ... It's a perfect location for a frog/prince to be hanging out waiting for a fair damsel to wander by ... :D
